1998: The team made the area playoffs under the old system of having 16 teams in the state playoffs. The area playoffs became the first two rounds of state playoffs. Area playoffs were eliminated when enough teams were created to establish official regions.

Coming from Savannah:

Take Exit 109 off I-95. Turn NORTH on Hwy 21. Follow Hwy 21 to Springfield. Turn left at the second light onto SOUTH Hwy 119. Travel 2-3 miles. The school will be on your left. Gate 1 is the parking lot/gym/stadium/track entrance. Gate 2 is the front of the school/main office entrance. Gate 3 is the normal bus entrance/baseball/softball entrance.

From Macon:

Follow I-16 east to Hwy 119 NORTH. Follow Hwy 119 NORTH through Guyton. ECHS will be on your right, about 2 miles past Guyton. The first gate is the normal bus entrance/baseball/softball entrance; the next gate is the front of the school/main office entrance; the next gate is the parking lot/gym/stadium/track entrance.

From Augusta:

Follow U.S. 25 SOUTH to Millen. Turn left onto Hwy 17 SOUTH. Follow to Guyton. Turn left onto Hwy 119 NORTH. ECHS will be on your right, about 2 miles past Guyton. The first gate is the normal bus entrance/baseball/softball entrance; the next gate is the front of the school/main office entrance; the next gate is the parking lot/gym/stadium/track entrance.
