Originally from Springfield, GA.

I attended school in Effingham County, where I marched in the Rebel Regiment for 4 years, graduating with honors from ECHS in 1998. I played bari-sax in the Wind Ensemble, and tuba in the Symphonic Band my senior year and was also a member of the Rebelaires.

I received my BA in Music Education from AASU in 2003, where I graduated Cum Laude. While at AASU I participated in most of its musical ensembles including Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble. I was also a member of Savannah’s only professional choir, I Cantori and have performed as a bass soloist with the Savannah Symphony Orchestra and the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra. 

I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2011, where I obtained a Master's Degree in Choral Conducting. 

I have taught at South Effingham High School with Mr. Ray Ellis and at Groves High School in Garden City, GA. I am presently the Director of Choral Activities at Effingham County High School. This is my 19th year as a choral music educator and my 17th year teaching at Effingham County High School.
