JROTC
Air Force JROTC: Our mission is to build better citizens for America. The specific goals of AF JROTC are to instill values of citizenship, to perform a service to the United States, to increase personal responsibility, and to achieve a sense of accomplishment. We support the AF mission through our academics, community service, drill and ceremony, and field trips. Cadets organize many community service activities that benefit the school and local community. They also participate in numerous parades, take field trips to military installations/ museums, ride in military aircraft, and participate in various AFJROTC functions to enhance their leadership skills and self-esteem. Drill and saber teams give cadets opportunities to perform in public or compete at competitions. At AFJROTC friendships are built, confidences increased, and a sense of accomplishment achieved. Please contact Lt. Col. Wichers or Chief Brownlee at 912 754-5514 with any questions.
