Herff Jones Ordering for Class Rings and Cap & Gown

Herff Jones graduation materials, including caps & gowns may be ordered online at www.gradnow.com .

The deadline for ordering is December 1, 2024. Caps & gowns are the only mandatory item needed for the graduation ceremony.

Scholarship Information

We will post all of the local scholarships that are given to us by local businesses or organizations. These scholarships are specific to Effingham County students. We will post all of the scholarships that we receive on this website. Please check this site regularly. Most of the local scholarships will not be posted until the spring--usually in the middle of the spring semester.

Unless the application is completed online please return the hard copy of the application to Mrs. Hayes in the counselors' office.

Attention Seniors: If you are interested in applying for the Georgia Scholar Award, please visit the websites below. Through the Georgia Scholar Program, the Georgia Department of Education honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in their schools and their communities. Each Georgia Scholar receives a seal for his or her diploma. The Georgia Scholar application must be submitted by March 1, 2025 by 5:00 P.M. Submit applications and all supporting documents online. HOPE Scholarship

The Georgia Student Finance Commission determines a student's HOPE eligibility---not ECHS. Seniors are required to have credit for 4 rigor courses in addition to a 3.0 G.P.A. (academic classes only) to be eligible for the HOPE scholarship. (The G.P.A. displayed on the student's transcript is not the same as the student's HOPE G.P.A.)
